Judge Announced - Judy Ling Wong CBE
We are delighted to announce that Judy Ling Wong CBE, honorary President of the Black Environment Network, has confirmed she is joining our judging panel. She joins Tom Crompton of the Common Cause Foundation and Rob Hopkins of the Transition Network.
Judy is a major voice on policy towards social inclusion, with involvement including membership of the IUCN/WCPA Urban Specialist Group, steering groups in the Campaign for Greater London National Park City and the Charter for Trees Woods and People, Vice Chair of the DEFRA Civil Society Partnership Network and of the UNESCO UK Man and the Biosphere Urban Forum, and Chair of London's Sowing the Seeds Network, which champions children's access to nature. Extensive recognition includes Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 1997 for her contribution to contemporary environmental thinking, an OBE in 2000 in recognition of her work in establishing ethnic environmental participation, a CBE in 2007 for services to heritage, and in 2013 Honorary Fellowship of the Institution of Environmental Sciences.
